Kagawa Prefecture and Takamatsu City have announced that five new men and women in their teens to 60s have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
He also announced that a man in his 80s, who had been confirmed infected and was being treated, had died on the 26th of last month.
In Kagawa Prefecture, 697 people have been confirmed infected and 17 have died.
