Ehime Prefecture has announced that it has been confirmed that four new people have been infected with the new coronavirus.
He also announced that an elderly person who had been hospitalized after being confirmed infected had died.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 1013 and 22 to death.
