Global Village, one of the world's largest cultural parks and the region's premier family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping, has achieved a new Guinness World Record, close to its goal of setting 25 records as part of its Silver Jubilee season celebrations.

The destination chose the new record for having a noble goal associated with World Cancer Day, which falls on February 4, and the village succeeded in achieving "the largest number of awareness tapes produced by a team within one hour."

Global Village distributed all the multicolored ribbons to its guests that day to spread awareness about the disease.
