  Defend the city.

Keeping a city makes this land safe and peaceful; keeping a city makes the people on this land feel at ease and at ease.

The Hong Kong Police Force's promotional film "Defense the City" has recently appeared on multiple media and social platforms and has received numerous praises.

The film is based on anti-terrorism operations, the plot is ups and downs, the screen is comparable to the blockbuster, and the interpretation is professional and exquisite.

A reporter from China News Agency recently interviewed the cast and crew of the film to reveal the story behind the "blockbuster".

The last time the Hong Kong Police Force produced a promotional video was in 2001.

This promotional film, which was launched 20 years later, is dedicated to strengthening citizens’ awareness of crime prevention and fighting crime. It also hopes to increase the public’s awareness, trust and support for the police force by increasing the transparency of the police’s work.

The Chief Superintendent of the Police Public Relations Branch of the Hong Kong Police Force, Kwok Ka-quan, said that after the "regulations" in 2019, Hong Kong society will stabilize and calm during July and August of 2020. The police force has begun to think about how to promote the police. Professional image, "Because we discovered that although social violence or demonstrations have decreased, there are still many smearing or false news directed at the police to slander our police officers."

"City Defence" tells the story of terrorist organizations planning terrorist attacks in many places throughout Hong Kong, taking hostages to force the police to release their leaders.

Through careful planning and execution capabilities, the Hong Kong Police Force finally smashed the story of terrorist conspiracy in one fell swoop.

Police officers from more than 10 units including Flying Tigers, Anti-Terrorism Special Service, and Airport Special Police participated in the performance.

"All the police officers who appeared in the propaganda film are real police officers." Guo Jiaquan was a little proud when introducing the details of the shooting. "Because we hope to be able to show their different resilience through some professional troops, so we will fight against terrorism. As the theme, more than 15 units and more than 600 colleagues were mobilized to take part in the filming. From the police officers to the chief of the department all participated in the performance, which also reflected the unity of the police."

In order not to affect some of the actions of front-line colleagues, let alone the public, the police can only shoot the different scenes of the entire clip in 9 nights during the filming.

Hong Kong Police Commissioner Tang Ping-kiang made a guest appearance as a senior police officer stationed in the anti-terrorist special service team in the film, interpreting the big meaning in a small role.

In the film, Deng Bingqiang is armed with a long spear. If the audience does not pay attention, it is difficult to notice that it was the "Hong Kong police brother" who was in the battle.

Guo Jiaquan revealed that Deng Bingqiang not only personally supports the frontline work of the police officers, but also supports the shooting of the promo film and readily agreed to participate in the shooting arrangements.

However, Deng Bingqiang didn't want to appear as the director, and wanted to play a small role.

On the day of the filming, Deng Bingqiang played a senior police officer of the anti-terrorist SWAT team in a subway station, and repeated the filming several times.

"The director said that he hopes to make plans for front-line colleagues and make the best preparation so that they can have no worries when they go to the front-line law enforcement to deal with some challenges."

As one of the important actors in the film, the principal of the Hong Kong Police Tactical Unit Headquarters and Chief Superintendent Chen Jianguo admitted frankly that participating in the performance is not only a challenge for him, but also an unforgettable memory.

"A performance of tens of seconds or more than a minute may have been filmed for a few hours behind the scenes. Police work is all nervous, but this kind of nervousness is really completely different. Because if you don’t shoot well, you have to reshoot. The whole group must be affected, including repositioning."

Chen Jianguo said that the theme of the promotional film is anti-terrorism, and it also fits with the new work focus of the Hong Kong Police Force on "maintaining national security".

The Hong Kong Police Tactical Unit will also perform this duty firmly at all levels.

"When we swore to be a police officer on the first day, we already had such a duty to maintain Hong Kong's security and maintain national security." Chen Jianguo said, "In the future, there will be both knowledge, legal or tactical levels, as well as drill cooperation between different departments. To strengthen, we will advance with the times in our future goals." (End)
