Many Egyptian and Arab stars mourned the great artist Izzat Al-Alaili, who passed away on Friday at the age of 86, after he enriched Arab art with many masterpieces on television, cinema and in the theater.

The star Nabil Al-Halafawi, who described the news of Al-Alayly's death as “shocking,” was at the forefront of those who mourned with influential words, his companion in his most famous film “The Road to Eilat”, praising the history of the hero of the movie “The Earth”.

Al-Halafawi wrote: "Shocking news, despite the long life, because we did not hear about a disease that preceded it ... Farewell to the great artist, Izzat Al-Alaili ... a history that began with struggle, crowned with success and was full of important and valuable works."

He added, "May God grant him the mercy of his mercy, forgiveness, and sincere condolences to Dr. Mahmoud Al-Alayli and the generous family ... May God grant them patience and bless them with tranquility."

Al-Alayli was born in Cairo in 1934 and graduated from the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in 1960. Among his most important works is his role in the film The Land directed by Youssef Chahine, and in the film “The Choice” by the same director, and his starring in the film “Saqqa Matt” by Salah Abu Seif and my film “The Road to Eilat” And "people of the summit."

The star Hendy Sabri, who posted a photo of the late man on her Twitter account, said: “Today we lost a great human being and an artist who presented a group of the most important works that formed our cinematic conscience .. He was a cultured artist and aware of the crises of our great Arab nation .. Farewell, the great artist.”

Actress Rania Youssef wrote: "Goodbye, the able artist, Izzat Al-Alayli ... We belong to God and to Him we shall return .. We ask you to pray and we ask God to inspire his family with patience and solace."

While the artist Dora confirmed that the Egyptian and Arab cinema "lost a great artist who is aware of the issues of Egypt and the Arab world", adding through her Twitter account that the late "left us a great cinematic history and signs such as the two films The Land and Choice with the genius Yusef Shaheen ..
