Jordan loses a creative person with a distinctive imprint .. the death of director Adnan Al-Awamleh

The well-known Jordanian director and producer, Adnan Al-Awamleh, passed away today at dawn, as his son announced on his Facebook page.

The producer, Talal Al-Awamleh, wrote on his page: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return.

The late Awamleh, 72, began his career in Jordan TV in 1968, before pursuing graduate studies at Beirut Arab University.

The late Arab Center for Media Production was founded in Jordan in 1983, and he has a distinctive imprint in producing and directing audiovisual works that have gained fame on the Jordanian and Arab levels.

Al-Awamleh was honored in 2008 with the International Emmy Award for the category of feature-length television fiction for the political and social series "Invasion", which was produced in 2007.

The series depicted the suffering of the Palestinian people during an Israeli military campaign in the West Bank in 2002.

The Arab Center for Media Production, led since about 2000 by producer Talal Al-Awamleh, has been producing children's programs for decades, and dramatic stories based on Jordanian folklore, especially Bedouin series, as well as historical series.

Among the famous Bedouin works are the parts of the series "Ras Ghlais", "Nimr bin Adwan" and "Wadha and Ibn Ajlan".

And political and social actions include "The Road to Kabul" and "Advocates at the Gates of Hell" about the Arab Mujahideen in Afghanistan and their return to their countries, extremism and terrorism.
