on Thursday there were 432, on Wednesday 565 and on Tuesday, 724. As in previous days, the healthcare pressure remains at high levels despite the containment of infections.
Right now, 43.86% of ICU beds across the country are occupied by patients infected with coronavirus.
But in half a dozen communities it exceeds the 50% threshold and in La Rioja it reaches 67.82%.
It hardly leaves space, therefore, for seriously ill patients with other pathologies.
The updated statistics also collect 28,565 new positives, of which 11,073 correspond to the last 24 hours;
on Thursday, a total of 29,960 infections were recorded.
There is also a decrease in
the accumulated incidence, which this Friday drops to 750 cases
per 100,000 inhabitants during the last 14 days throughout Spain.
But three communities (Valencian Community, Castilla y León, and La Rioja) exceed one thousand.
