The officer fired a shot at the private car after issuing a verbal warning to the male driver in the private car.
Afterwards, the private car lost control and crashed into the roadside railing and turned over. A 20-year-old female passenger was trapped in the car and was rescued. She suffered minor injuries to her shoulder and was conscious when she was sent to hospital.
The police seized about 7 grams of suspected cocaine in the private car.
After investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male driver, a 20-year-old female passenger and a 31-year-old man on the private car on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs.
The male driver was also arrested for dangerous driving.
All the arrested persons are now being detained for investigation.
