A daughter in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of injury at a metropolitan apartment in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, for assaulting and injuring her mother in her 80s.

The mother subsequently died, and the daughter told the investigation that she was "tired from caring for her mother with dementia and became emotional."

The person arrested was Megumi Inaba (52), an unemployed person in Higashihorikiri, Katsushika-ku.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, it is suspected that he was injured in the room of his metropolitan apartment late last month by assaulting his 83-year-old mother by hitting her face.

The mother died on the 2nd, but the relationship with the assault is unknown.

The suspect quit his job to care for his father 10 years ago and began living with his parents, but since his father died a few years ago, one mother had symptoms such as dementia. It means that he was caring for himself.

Recently, he admitted that he was almost bedridden and couldn't talk, so he admitted to the investigation and said, "I tried to replace the diaper, but I was frustrated because I was resisted, and I immediately hit him. I became tired and emotional. "

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details.
