After the abuse allegations made by several women against the shock rocker Marilyn Manson, his record company has separated from the musician.

The company Loma Vista Recordings announced on Monday that it would no longer distribute Manson's latest album.

Loma Vista will also no longer work with Manson on future projects.

Manson himself denied the allegations, calling them "terrible distortions of reality".

His intimate relationships have always been based on "complete consensus with like-minded partners," wrote the 52-year-old hard rock musician on Instagram.

Even if others misrepresented the past, "that is the truth".

The US actress Evan Rachel Wood and several other women have made serious allegations of abuse against Manson.

"He stole my trust when I was a teenager and then abused me terribly for years," Wood, who was in the past with Manson, wrote on Instagram on Monday.

"I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission." She described Manson as a "dangerous man."

Wood is known from the science fiction series "Westworld".

She and at least four other women accuse Manson of sexual abuse, including rape, manipulation, forced drug use, intimidation, physical violence and death threats.

Already in 2018 there was a complaint against Manson

Wood, now 33, was in a relationship with Manson until 2010.

In 2016 she described on the online service Twitter and then in 2018 before a congress committee that she had been a victim of sexual violence in the past.

The actress did not mention any names at the time.

Already in 2018, after the abuse allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein became public, a complaint against Manson had been filed.

It was about alleged sexual offenses in 2011. However, the public prosecutor dropped the case.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, relies on shock effects and provocation in his appearances.

He dresses in the so-called Gothic look and mixes elements of satanic cults in his stage show.

He put his stage name together from the first name of the Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe and the last name of the serial killer Charles Manson.
