Singer Mariah Carey -

The situation escalates even more between Mariah Carey and her sister Alison.

The latter has indeed, according to TMZ, decided to sue the interpreter of

Hero

, to the tune of 1.25 million dollars.

She claims to suffer from "emotional distress" since the publication of

The Meaning of Mariah

, the autobiography of the diva, released in 2020.

In her book, the singer says in particular that her sister Alison "gave her Valium, tried to prostitute me and threw me a cup of boiling tea, causing third degree burns".

Allegations firmly denied by Alison Carey, who accuses her sister of having no proof of what she is saying.

She also assures that she has never had the opportunity to defend herself from these public allegations.

Disorder personality

It's not the first time that Alison Carey has been talked about, but so far it has been more for her misconduct.

She was notably arrested for prostitution in 2005, as reported by the

New York Post

.

The star's 59-year-old older sister says today that if she tried to quit drinking for a while, she would have problems with the drink again, says Page Six.

This apparently does not prevent her from taking her sister to court, without a lawyer, since she has chosen to represent herself.

She explains having contacted the lawyers of her famous sister to try to settle the case amicably, but received no response.

When questioned by TMZ, Mariah Carey did not react to the affair, and neither did her agents.
