Abu Anas said to Emirates Today: “Anas is my first child, and all the stages of his mother’s pregnancy passed in it naturally, and all the examinations promised that she and the child were in good and stable condition, but she had complications during childbirth, so the doctor decided to perform a cesarean delivery for her. The newborn was transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit due to his cramps, and he stayed there for two days.

He added: "Anas's health condition has improved, and the doctor allowed us to leave the hospital, but he told us that he might be paralyzed."

He continued, "After my son completed two years of age, we noticed that he could not pronounce words like other children, and he was not able to walk naturally, so I presented him to a neurologist who asked us to present him to one of the specialized centers in the brain."

The father said: "I showed Anas to a doctor in a center specializing in treating brain diseases, and the tests and CT scans that he had conducted showed that there was an abnormality in brain function."

He added: “When Anas was three years and 10 months old, he suffered from severe spasticity, as a result of which he entered the Intensive Care Department of Al Noor Hospital, and stayed for two weeks, and then he was transferred to Tawam Hospital in the Al Ain region, and he remained for three weeks in intensive care, from which he was transferred to Khalifa Medical City. "He stayed for a month in the intensive care unit, and the doctor told us that he had quadriplegic cerebral palsy."

The father pointed out that Anas’s condition requires, according to what the doctors indicated, that he be bedridden most of the time, so we have to provide a medical bed, a wheelchair, medicines for convulsions, other medicines for drooling, and medicines for relaxing nerves daily, and I am unable to manage the cost of his treatment requirements.

Abu Anas explained that his financial circumstances do not allow him to provide for the costs of the sessions that his son needs, as he works in a private company in Abu Dhabi, and his salary is 12 thousand dirhams, from which he pays 4,400 dirhams for housing rent and 1,500 dirhams for bank installments, and what remains is barely enough to support his family that is made up From three individuals.
