The film "The North Wind", in which "The Evil Man" and other compositions by Zemfira will sound, is a continuation of the performance of the same name by Renata Litvinova, which the director staged at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater after her own play.

The theatrical premiere took place in 2017.

The play also used the works of Zemfira Ramazanova.

In an interview with Channel One, the artist emphasized that when working on a soundtrack or musical arrangement for a production, she is largely guided by Litvinova's vision: any excerpts? "

Then, of course, we discuss and argue, but I always give in to the director, because this is her job, and it is the director who adds all the elements of the picture into a whole.

To write the music for the film, a script and discussion with Renata are enough for me. "

The plot revolves around the life of the Northern Clan - a family of powerful and wealthy industrialists who rule the Northern Fields.

Matriarchy reigns in the clan.

Tragedy changes everything: the heir's bride dies.

From that moment on, his mother and wife enter into a struggle simultaneously for the man's favor, power and the fabulous state of the clan.

The roles in the film are played by Renata Litvinova, Ulyana Dobrovskaya, Sophia Ernst, Anton Shagin, Svetlana Khodchenkova and others.

Zemfira Ramazanova and Renata Litvinova have been cooperating for many years.

The singer and composer wrote music for such films as "The Goddess: How I Fell in Love", "Rita's Last Fairy Tale", "Salma's Letter" and other works of the director.

Renata Litvinova directed the clips of Zemfira "Live in Your Head", "We Are Crashing", "Results", "Blues" and "Walk" (in some of them she also acted as an actress), as well as a number of videos from concerts.
