The first aircraft of Japan's new flagship rocket H3 is being carried to the rocket assembly facility at the Tanegashima Space Center.

However, the container containing the aircraft tilted for some reason during transportation, and the arrival was delayed.

The H3 is a rocket being developed by JAXA = Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. On the morning of the 30th, a cargo ship loaded with containers containing the first and second stages of the first unit was launched at the port in Minamitane Town, Kagoshima Prefecture. Arrived at.

After that, I put it on a trailer and left the port at 10 pm on the 30th, and ran slowly toward the Tanegashima Space Center.

According to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, at around 2:30 am on the 31st, the arrival at the rocket assembly facility was delayed because the first-stage container was tilted for some reason while moving on the premises of the Space Center.

The container is 39 meters long and 6.6 meters high.

There are roads on the premises of the space center at the site that are usually open to locals, but they are currently impassable.

Since no one was injured, JAXA and others are investigating the detailed situation.

This H3 is aiming for launch in the new year.
