Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that 28 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
A total of 4101 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu prefecture.
It was also announced that a man in his 70s in Gifu City died on the 29th.
The number of people who died after being confirmed to be infected in the prefecture was 68.
