It is listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage with its unique dialect singing and distinctive artistic expression.

  Dong Yonghu has been performing Xian Xiao as the provincial inheritor of Liangzhou Xian Xiao for more than 30 years.

Liangzhou Xianxiao's performance is in the form of a person accompaniing rap and singing, and the content is mostly stories that praise the sages and persuade others to be kind.
