"Vasily Semyonovich ... will be buried on Monday at the Novodevichy cemetery," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The civil funeral service will be held at the theater from 10:00 to 12:00.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu expressed their condolences over the death of Lanovoy.
The artist died at the age of 88 on January 28.
