25 years ago, with six other European magistrates, he launched the “Geneva call”, which is a declaration of war against tax havens.

Today, the French judge Renaud Van Ruymbeke, who has just retired, publishes, with the Tallandier editions: “Memories of a too independent judge”.

In this book, he makes proposals to track down dirty money and especially countries, like Dubai, which are home to these ill-gotten goods.

At a time when everyone is looking for new money to overcome the Covid-19 crisis, he is answering Christophe Boisbouvier's questions.
