On January 29, the new teaching building was officially opened. A female student excitedly made a "V" gesture to the Chinese visitors.
On the same day, the China Foundation for Peace and Development handed over the two newly built teaching buildings and related supporting facilities of the "Friends of the Silk Road" school of friendship between China and Cambodia.
Two teaching buildings were constructed with the aid of USD 500,000 from the China Peace and Development Foundation. They are Angkana Primary School in Bati County, Ta Keo Province and Suoan Dong Kepo High School in Burechusa County.
