No less than 297 buildings for an area of 803,830 m², the vast majority of which dates from the 1970s, see 1960. The premises of the Aix-Marseille faculty, the largest French-speaking multidisciplinary university, are aging at great speed. remedy, the faculty took advantage of the stimulus plan orchestrated by the government to release funds and thus open a major plan to renovate its real estate assets.
The State has thus allocated to the faculty of Aix-Marseille a budget of 61.2 million euros, part of which will be used to rehabilitate the flagship buildings of the university, the faculty indicates in a press release.
Built in 1975 on the university site of La Timone, the pharmacy building will benefit from the most important grooming aimed at achieving significant energy savings, for a total cost of 27.7 million euros.
The Saint-Charles campus will also be the subject of rehabilitation work.
