animated series

joins two other spin-offs: 

, due in 2022, which takes place 300 years before the events of Robert Baratheon's rebellion and follows an ancestor of Daenerys, King Aegon I , also called Aegon the Conqueror, founder of the Targaryen dynasty and very first ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, and

adaptation of a series of novels whose events take place ninety years before those of A Song of Ice and Fire.
