Several armed perpetrators attacked a money transporter in Frankfurt am Main on Thursday.
As the police announced, they threatened the security staff of the transport in the entrance area of a financial institution in the Bergen district in the morning.
Despite a shot in the air, they were unable to take the suitcase.
Nobody got hurt.
The police started a search for the robbers, but could not initially catch them.
The perpetrators left their silver-gray escape car some distance from the scene and set it on fire.
Potential witnesses have been asked to report.
The police are looking for them at high pressure and warn the population to be careful
