Aomori Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that four new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in Hachinohe City and the Sannohe Local Health Center.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 699, including those who have already recovered and those who have died.
It was also revealed that two people in their 70s and 80s or older who had been treated at a hospital in the prefecture died on the 28th after being infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of people who died from being infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture was 13.
