Currently, cold weather warnings are in effect throughout the country, excluding some southern regions. In particular, the temperature of Hyangnobong Peak, where the warning was issued, plummeted to -23.5 degrees below zero.
The temperature in Seoul is also -11.5 degrees below zero, which is about 10 degrees lower than the same time yesterday.
As the wind adds to this, the cold you feel on the streets is in many areas that are around -20 degrees below zero, so you should wear warm clothes today.
In addition, as the temperature drops like this, yesterday's snow freezes on the road and there are many slippery places, so you should move carefully to work.
The wind is still fierce.
While strong wind warnings are in effect in Gangwon and Jeju, and warnings are in effect throughout the country, strong winds with a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 90 km/h are still blowing along the coast and mountains.
This wind will gradually weaken from the west in the afternoon.
If you look at the current radar image, there are still snow clouds on the west coast of Chungnam and Honam, Jeju and Ulleungdo, and up to 5cm of snow will fall in these areas until the morning.
