At the 88th year of his life, the theater and film actor, People's Artist of Russia Vasily Lanovoy died. This was reported by his wife. Spectators remember Lanovoy from the films "Officers", "Scarlet Sails", "Days of the Turbins", "War and Peace" and many other film and television projects. In parallel with filming a movie, Lanovoy served for more than half a century at the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater, where he played about 50 roles - including Caesar (Antony and Cleopatra), Don Guan (Little Tragedies), Calafa (Princess Turandot).
