The number of infected people announced on the 1st in Okinawa Prefecture is the second highest so far after 156 on August 9, last year, and the highest number in this year.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 7,270.
On the other hand, no new infection was confirmed at the US military base in the prefecture.
