On January 27, the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council held a press conference on local New Year service guarantees.
According to Zhao Chenxin, Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission, the local New Year policy is classified in different levels. The implementation of local New Year policies cannot be "one size fits all" and layer upon layer. It cannot prevent people from returning to their hometowns, and should provide more convenience to the people.
