Novelist Niko Tackian is the guest of "Culture Médias" on Wednesday.
Also a screenwriter for the France 2 series "Alex Hugo", he reveals that season 8 is already being written.
Proof that the channel has confidence in this program, of which it will not broadcast season 7 until September of this year.

After the triumph on France 2 of season 6 of
Alex Hugo
in September 2020, the channel has already renewed the program not for one, but for at least two seasons.
This is information revealed Wednesday by one of the writers of the series, the novelist Niko Tackian, on the occasion of his invitation to the program

Season 7 of the detective series with Samuel Le Bihan was shot in December 2020. But it should not be broadcast right away.
“Traditionally,
Alex Hugo
airs every September. So the next season will start in early September and cover the whole month,” Niko Tackian explains.
A new episode from March?
Unless the series returns earlier.
"We are not immune that there is a broadcast of a new one towards the end of March, as was the case last year", warns the screenwriter, without being able to confirm this track.
What he reveals and confirms is that this season 7 will not be the last.
"There will be a season 8, since we are in the process of writing its episodes right now," he reveals.
"We are very lucky with
Alex Hugo
to have both a cast acclaimed by the spectators and a success of audiences which consolidates us."
So much so that France 2 renews the series two seasons in advance.
Alex Hugo
should therefore be on the air until September 2021, at least.
