In 2019, fiscal education funds reached 59.15 billion yuan, an average annual growth rate of 17.2% during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, and special education was implemented for 15 years of free education.
According to reports, as of now, all 11 districts in Guangzhou have become "a basic balanced area for the development of national compulsory education" and "an advanced area for promoting modernization of education in Guangdong Province."
The three-year upgrade plan for primary and secondary schools has accumulated 165,400 public places.
There are 73 demonstration high schools, an increase of 11,000 high-quality degrees.
Set up 86 education groups to achieve full coverage of 11 districts of municipal high-quality resources and special schools, and introduce new campuses of Tsinghua High School, China Normal University High School and Guangdong Experimental High School.
The level of education internationalization in Guangzhou has also improved significantly.
