Tonight, when the first emotions from yesterday's, without exaggeration, eventful day subsided, the US State Department released a statement from its official representative.

On events in Russia.

Selected quotes:

“The United States strongly condemns the use of harsh tactics against protesters and journalists this weekend in cities across Russia”;

- “The ongoing efforts to infringe on the rights of Russians to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression, the arrest of opposition leader Alexei Navalny and the subsequent suppression of protests are alarming signs of further restrictions on civil society and fundamental freedoms”;

- “We call on the Russian authorities to release all citizens detained for exercising their universal rights, as well as to immediately and unconditionally release Alexei Navalny”;

"The United States will stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies and partners in defending human rights, whether in Russia or wherever they are threatened."

A simple Russian, having read all this and keeping in mind the recent events in the United States itself, will immediately exclaim: "But whose cow would bellow!"

But for the American authorities, such a feast of hypocrisy has long been the norm.

And the logs in their own eyes do not prevent them from looking for specks in strangers.

Especially when it comes to Russia.

To destabilize the situation in which every American government is trying from within.

Of course, yesterday's riots (after watching kilometers of video from the scene, one cannot call it a peaceful protest) is part of a script that was clearly not written by Navalny and his assistants.

Everything was clearly planned while he was in Berlin with the active participation of Western special services.

First of all, the United States, which did not even hide their obvious interest in the protest actions and did not hesitate to post a list of places, the exact time and proposed routes on their official website on the eve of the announced events.

Including - "a trip to the Kremlin", which, by the way, never took place.

Of course, the Russian Foreign Ministry promptly reacted to this flagrant interference in the internal affairs of Russia and notified our American "partners" that a serious conversation awaited them.

However, there is every reason to believe that the American oversight of the Russian protests will not end there, and coordination and sponsorship (both informational and financial) will continue.

The new Biden administration, which is in fact the reanimation of the Obama administration, will do everything it can to make a blaze inside Russia.

For this, as has been said more than once, is their only chance to achieve the goals set for our country.

The same former US Ambassador to Russia McFaul does not hide that he is nostalgic for the times when Reagan was Gorbachev's best friend, and now gives the new President Biden advice on how to limit the influence of Russian "propaganda" in US-controlled social networks by promoting (including on the territory of our country) content, correct from the point of view of American interests.

Part of which will be aimed at inciting protest sentiments throughout Russia.

And it is not surprising that this is done openly and brazenly.

Our overseas "partners" are so accustomed to their impunity that they have long ceased to worry about how their antics will be treated in the country, whose affairs they are so actively interested in.

I think it's time to stop this vicious American practice with respect to Russia.

Otherwise, sooner or later they will achieve their goal.

Taking into account yesterday's events, it became clear to even the most apolitical people that we endured gross interference in our internal affairs for an impermissibly long time and this is fraught with negative and irreversible consequences.

In this connection, I very much hope that our Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not limit itself to even a very serious conversation and will take all other necessary measures in order to diminish the desire to pry into our affairs and call on our children to protest from the “partners”.

For there is so much at stake.

And if for the sake of calmness and stability in Russia it is necessary to sacrifice relations with the United States, which have already been spoiled not on our initiative, then I think there should be no hesitation in this matter.
