Nagasaki Prefecture and others have announced that a total of 13 people in Nagasaki City, Sasebo City, and Goto City have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of confirmed infections in Nagasaki Prefecture is now 1,408, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Sasebo City also announced that one person who was undergoing hospitalization died on the 23rd.
This brings the number of infected people who died in Nagasaki Prefecture to 20.
