"Al-Zajil challenges" start in the heresy of the nests

Last Friday, the "Al-Zajil Challenges" Falconry Championship, organized by the Zayed Center for Studies and Research of the Emirates Heritage Club in Abu Dhabi, was launched in the Bida Al-Ashoush region, in partnership with a number of entities, and will continue until February 15th.

Falconers flocked to the championship site, all enthusiastic, in order to achieve victory and seize the "law" and the title they seek, which means a lot to them.

The first day witnessed fierce competition and continuous chasing between homing pigeons and the falcons of the first group participants, which numbered 20 falconers.

Participant Salem Saeed Salem Al-Deri managed to win the prize after strong adventures and maneuvers.

Participant Khalifa Saghir Al Balushi also received the Distinguished Performance Award, and this award is presented to the best performing falcons in terms of maneuverability, speed of launch, and the distance between the falcon and the homing pigeon.

The participants expressed their happiness to participate in the championship that celebrates the heritage of parents and grandparents, extending their thanks to the Emirates Heritage Club and the organizing committee, which always meets their demands and serves the heritage of falconry and falconry.

The tournament will continue next Friday, when 20 participants in Group Two will compete as well.
