At the invitation of Chen Fazhi, Yu Binghua gave up the generous treatment and returned to Dongjiahe Village as the village committee director. Since 2018, the village party branch secretary and village committee director have "one shoulder".

　　After taking office, Yu Binghua led the "two committees" of the village to "blood" the collective economy by contracting projects, setting up transportation teams, and opening gas stations. The village collective economy exceeded 10 million yuan.

　　In order to enable the people to better enjoy the "dividends" brought about by the development and growth of the village collective economy, Dongjiahe Village has spent more than 6 million yuan annually to provide villagers with 11 items including urban employee insurance, urban and rural residents endowment insurance, and new rural cooperative hospitalization support.
