The 59-year-old Zhu Haichang was diagnosed with coronary heart disease in 2020. At that time, the 30,000 yuan operation fee was prohibitive for Zhu and his wife. It was not until this year that the cost of coronary stents had been reduced to a few hundred yuan before deciding to have coronary artery bypass surgery.

This time, the country’s centralized procurement includes imported and domestic products. For different lesions and different patients, our doctor will see during the operation, which stent is suitable for him. The choice of stent changes. It's bigger, so in this way, the patient's surgery is guaranteed.
[Explanation] It is understood that the total declared procurement volume of various medical institutions in Xinjiang in 2021 will be 32,000, and the National Joint Procurement Office will collect 80% of the total amount. It is calculated based on the national average price. Xinjiang Uyghur Insured patients and medical insurance funds in the autonomous region can save about 320 million yuan in medical expenses each year.
