It was with a poignant message, written by the actress herself before her disappearance, that the sad news was announced on Twitter: “I am looking at the stars.

It's a clear night and you can see the Milky Voice.

This is where I will be going soon.

"We are stardust".

I remember that line of dialogue from Delenn.

It's not a bad prospect.

I am not afraid.

Let me close my eyes and feel the beauty that surrounds me.

And breathe under the black sky covered with stars.

, died on Wednesday at the age of 65, director J. Michael Straczynski confirmed on Twitter on Friday.

The cause of death has not been revealed.

“We had known for some time now that Mira's health was failing… and we all dreaded this day,” writes J. Michael Straczynski.

It is a night of great sadness, for our friend and comrade had gone down the road where we cannot reach her.

But as with all things, we will catch up with her in time, and I believe she will have many stories to tell us, and many new roles to share with the universe.
