Bang's crisis became known in October 2018 when the magazine launched a rescue campaign in which 700 new subscribers were recruited.
But the rescue failed.
The newspaper, which has been run as a non-profit economic association, filed for bankruptcy in early December.
On December 14, the bankruptcy decision came.
Bang was founded in 1991 by a group of students at Stockholm University and is named after the journalist Barbro "Bang" Alving.
