According to reports, at 17:00 on the 22nd, a man took a hostage after wounding 7 people with a knife at the gate of the Experimental High School Affiliated to Yunnan Normal University, Dongfeng West Road, Huashan Street, Wuhua District, Kunming City.

After investigation, the suspect Wang Xia was from Kunming (male, 56 years old). His criminal behavior has caused 7 people to be injured to varying degrees and 1 person died after rescue.
