Following a gas leak on a construction site in the Cagnes-sur-Mer station area, in the Alpes-Maritimes, traffic is at a slower pace on the entire secondary network.

On the A8 motorway, interchange 48, which was closed, has just reopened but the traffic remains very complicated.

Towards Aix-en-Provence, from Nice, slowdowns of around twenty minutes are to be expected.

If you are on the highway, the Vinci highway 107.7 radio advises to exit at Saint-Laurent-du-Var, exit 49 or continue to Villeneuve-Loubet and then retrace your steps.

Knowing that the secondary network is also completely saturated.

People in surrounding establishments were told to stay confined, a pharmacy was evacuated and closed.

The leak has been brought under control, the firefighters have just left the scene.
