Cairo Eye, with $ 31 million
Ahmed Metwally, Chairman of the Hawaii Company for Tourism and Investment, said today that the company will invest 500 million pounds ($ 31.9 million) to build the "Eye of Cairo" wheel.
Metwally added during a press conference that the project will be implemented within two years and aims to attract 2.5 million visitors annually.
The Ferris wheel will be built on an area of 20 thousand square meters and a height of 120 meters.
The wheel will be the largest in Africa, according to the company.
