On January 17, 2021, chunks of crystal clear "sapphire blue" ice were scattered on the ice surface of Sailimu Lake in Bozhou, Xinjiang.

Sailimu Lake is the largest alpine lake in Xinjiang. It freezes every winter. Due to the good water quality, the frozen ice is dark blue, which is called blue ice.

The crushed ice scattered on the ice surface, polished by the wind, is more crystal clear, fully showing the pure water quality of Sailimu Lake.

Pieces of crushed ice, like gems, emit dazzling colors and make people love it.
