11 countries have not registered nor cases of Covid 19, most notably Turkmenistan

A report by the American "New York Post" stated that 11 countries in the world did not reach the Corona virus, and it may not be strange if we know that all of these countries, with the exception of one, are islands in the Pacific Ocean, and external traffic to and from it was almost stopped after it closed its doors. Early on, what prevented all international visitors from entering their shores.

These countries are:

1- Cook Islands: With a population of about 17,000, the measures and precautions taken by the Cook Islands included the closure of schools on Rarotonga, which is the most populous island in the country, and encouraged social distancing in public places, but after a few weeks, life returned to normal.

2- Tuvalu: Its population is estimated at 11,500 people, and this country quickly closed its borders and worked to impose a strict two-week quarantine on anyone entering the country.

3- Tonga: With a population of about 104,000, this island country worked early on to redirect cruise ships and imposed a ban on international travel, which contributed to preventing the virus from entering it.

4- Pitcairn Islands: It follows the British Crown, made up of four islands in the Pacific Ocean, and its population is only 50.

5- Palau: an archipelago of more than 300 islands, with an estimated population of 18,000.

Palau has initiated the necessary preventive measures and precautions to prevent the entry of the Corona virus from the first days of the outbreak of the epidemic, suspending all trips and imposing strict quarantine on citizens returning to their homes.

6- Niue: It is an island country located in the South Pacific Ocean, 2,400 kilometers northwest of New Zealand, and it enjoys self-rule and is freely connected with New Zealand. Its population, most of whom are Polynesians, is about 1,612 people.

7- Nauru: island countries also located in the Pacific Ocean, with an estimated population of 12,700 people.

It is one of the poorest countries on Earth, and gets money by leasing most of its land to Australia for use as a detention camp for illegal immigrants and refugees.

8- Kiribati: is an archipelago of islands located in the Pacific Ocean roughly on the equator, with a population of approximately 116,000 people.

It can be said that one of the main reasons why the Coronavirus has not reached it is because there are very few airlines that have airlines to Kiribati, so it was easier for this nation to impose a travel ban.

9- Tokelau: It is a province of New Zealand consisting of 3 tropical atolls in the South Pacific Ocean, with an estimated area of ​​about 12 square kilometers and a population of about 1,500 people, and it is one of the few countries that the Corona virus that causes the Covid-19 epidemic has not reached.

10- Micronesia: It is an archipelago of the 600 islands with a population of about 112,000.

The government warned early on that “passengers are not permitted to disembark any marine vessel or aircraft of origin outside the Federated States of Micronesia, with the exception of individuals who have obtained an exemption from the national government or those who work in commercial sea vessels that adhere to the precautionary procedures and protocols”, which contributed The deadly virus does not reach it.

11- Turkmenistan: the former Soviet state located in Central Asia, with an estimated population of about 5 million.

It is the only "non-island" country in the group, and this Central Asian country has not recorded any HIV infections yet, according to official announcements, knowing that it is a large country in terms of area, exceeding half a million square kilometers.
