This year, the epidemic is still spreading sporadically in many places. The Wuhan Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advocates for citizens to reduce unnecessary trips and gatherings to celebrate the New Year in place.

  [Explanation] In order to ensure the health and safety of citizens’ eating and drinking during the "Chinese New Year in situ", the reporter visited major fresh food markets, Hanzheng Street, supermarkets, food courts, shops and restaurants in Wuhan.

  [Explanation] The reporter saw at the Rongxi Fresh Market in Qiaokou District of Wuhan that citizens are required to wear a mask when entering the venue, show their health code, and measure their body temperature. They can enter without any abnormalities.

The market has set up a testing room. Before the opening of the market, the fruits and vegetables in each stall will be randomly inspected for pesticide residues, and meat and cold chain foods will be quarantined. The test results will be displayed on the LED display at the entrance of the market in real time. Nucleic acid testing is also required every week.
