Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Civil Affairs issued the latest notice on the epidemic prevention of elderly care institutions during the Spring Festival in 2021, stating that during the Spring Festival, elderly care institutions and welfare homes are key places and in principle closed management.

From January 17 to 18, reporters from China News Agency visited a number of elderly care institutions in Nanjing to learn about the latest epidemic prevention measures.

The person in charge of the elderly care institution stated that during the epidemic prevention and control period, they have set up an isolation observation room. When entering and exiting, staff need to show the "health code", "travel code" and verification of negative nucleic acid test information within 7 days, as well as body temperature testing and information registration. As well as daily disinfection, even the food and beverage materials admitted to the hospital are disinfected in strict accordance with the prevention and control requirements.
