Two men were arrested for deceiving the government's "sustainable benefits" to businesses affected by the new coronavirus.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that it is suspected that it has illegally received about 130 million yen by the same method because it applied for a lie on behalf of the hostess of the Philippine pub and received a fee.

The people arrested were Yukiyoshi Oshima (59) and Hidehito Hizawa (60), both of whom live in Tokyo and whose occupation is unknown.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, in July last year, he applied for a lie on behalf of a hostess in his thirties who was working at a Philippine pub at that time, and was suspected of fraud for defrauding the national "sustainability benefit" of 1 million yen. I am.

The hostess was a sole proprietor and was eligible to receive benefits, but the application was falsely stated.

The two had received 100,000 yen as a commission, and they both denied some of the charges, saying that they "did not intend to cheat" the investigation.

The two also visited Philippine pubs in various places where sales fell due to the influence of the new coronavirus, soliciting hostesses and employees who are not familiar with Japanese and acting on behalf of the application, the Metropolitan Police Department said. We have repeated the application and are investigating that we suspect that we have illegally received about 130 million yen so far.
