Recently, a villager in Yufang Village, Yufang Township, Jiangle County, Fujian Province dug up a rusty and suspicious object that was suspected to be a cannonball while digging winter bamboo shoots in a bamboo forest. The object was 22 centimeters long and 2 kilograms in weight. On the left and right, is an unexploded mortar shell left over from the Agrarian Revolution.
On January 18, the undetonated mortar shell was safely destroyed by deflagration.
The person in charge of the old district office of Lexian introduced that the shell is complete, it is a mortar shell with an unlit fuze, and it should be a product left over from the Agrarian Revolution period.
According to historical records, Yufang Township in Jiangle County experienced many fierce battles during the Agrarian Revolution.
