Gendarmerie du Lot

The messages received by the gendarmes are not all imbued with kindness.

But there are exceptions, as the soldiers of the Limogne-en-Quercy brigade can attest, in the Lot.

They received drawings of thanks from two children, a boy and a girl, whose house was broken into on Friday evening in Lamagdelaine, north-east of Cahors.

Messages accompanied these illustrations shared on the Facebook page of the department's gendarmerie.

The young boy explains that he also wants to become a gendarme later.

An investigation was necessarily opened after this burglary, at the end of which the little girl's blanket could be "found and saved", according to the Lot gendarmerie.
