　　At 13:55 on January 17, the No. 3 borehole was connected to the fifth middle section of the roadway. Rescuers contacted the trapped people and delivered supplies. After contact, it was initially confirmed that there were 11 people in the fifth middle section and 1 in the sixth middle section. , And 10 others are unclear.

With this channel, rescuers opened contact with 12 known people in the well, and fed supplies and medicines into the well.

After the breakthrough, the rescuers contacted the underground personnel by knocking on the drill pipe, but did not receive a response. They are using the life detector to increase the detection. 　　Currently, at the rescue site, six drilling rigs are under construction, of which the No. 1 and No. 5 drilling rigs target the sixth middle section, and the No. 2, 3, 4, and 6 drilling rigs target the fifth middle section.

As of 12:00 noon on January 18, except for the successful penetration of No. 1 and No. 3 boreholes, No. 2 borehole was stuck at 420 meters, and No. 4 borehole was drilled to 540 meters. No. 5 hole has been drilled to 201 meters downhole, and No. 6 hole has been drilled to 316 meters downhole.

Among them, the No. 1 borehole has made a cumulative progress of nearly 629 meters, which is the deepest ground drilling and rescue depth in recent years.
