The family of

Household Scenes

will grow in the course of the year.

The short and humorous program broadcast on M6 will indeed welcome a new couple.

This is what the series producer, Alain Kappauf, revealed during the recording of a new issue of the Europe 1

Serieland

podcast

, hosted by Eva Roque.

He explained why the teams of the series had made this choice to enrich the cast once again, a decision he describes as "a natural extension" of the series.

“At the start,

Scenes of Households

had a fairly limited DNA, spanning three generations,” he recalls.

"Today, the generations have extended a little, and with them the photograph of French society. We want to complete this representation of socio-types."

A new couple similar to the old ones?

So there will soon be six couples in the M6 series.

Alain Kappauf has confirmed that this new pair will not replace another.

For the moment, nothing is known about the profile of this new couple.

But not sure that the channel takes the opportunity to highlight a homosexual couple, or to better represent diversity or disability.

"We are not going to be a prisoner of that", warns Alain Kappauf.

"For us, the starting point is the conflict in the couple. It is really the mainspring of the series."

A comic spring which it is difficult to see how it would be slowed down by a better representation of French society.
