For the corona vaccinations in Germany, more precise information is now available on temporarily lower vaccine deliveries from the manufacturers Biontech and Pfizer.

A larger amount is planned for this week, but less in the coming week.

This emerges from a delivery schedule from Biontech that was presented to the health ministers' conference of the federal states on Monday.

This week, the federal states are to receive 842,400 doses - based on the now approved withdrawal of six instead of five doses from an ampoule.

So far, 667,875 doses had been mentioned in relation to five possible doses, which corresponds to a total of 801,450 with six possible doses.

In the week of January 25th, however, less vaccine should come than previously planned, as an overview available to the German Press Agency shows: namely 485,550 doses based on six removable vials per ampoule.

The announced 667,875 doses were based on five possible doses, which would correspond to 801 450 doses with six possible per ampoule.

The reason for this is the renovation at Pfizer's Belgian plant in Puurs to create higher production capacities.

The federal and state governments had criticized brief information about this.

For the following weeks, 667,875 cans were originally planned on the basis of five removable cans.

Based on a possible six doses per ampoule, according to the plan, a total of 684,450 doses are to come in the week of February 1 - 742,950 in the weeks of February 8 and February 15.

In relation to five possible doses from one ampoule, this would correspond to a total of fewer doses than initially announced from the week of January 25 to the week of February 15.

For the week of February 22nd, according to the plan, Biontech then offers more vaccine than previously planned.

906,750 doses of six possible per ampoule are to be delivered to the countries.

That would correspond to 755,625 with five possible doses.
