Recently, Gulou West Street, a 1.7-kilometer-long Xie Street that began in the Yuan Dynasty, has revealed a new image after more than three years of reorganization and renewal.
This is the first historical block protection and renewal project to be completed in Xicheng District of Beijing after the approval of the "Regulatory Detailed Planning for the Functional Core Area of the Capital (Block Level) (2018-2035)", which will effectively help the central axis's heritage protection .
